About Me
Hello and welcome to my space, a personal journey through the landscapes of mindfulness, holistic wellness, and the pursuit of a meaningful life.
Curiosity & Learning:
My curiosity is boundless, spanning from psychology to philosophy, science to sociology. I am critically aware of how the pursuit of happiness is often manipulated by societal norms and marketing strategies. These external influences can distort our choices and perceptions, leading us away from genuine contentment and self-awareness. It concerns me how deeply marketing can impact our understanding of what truly brings happiness.
Nutrition & Health:
My journey into the world of nutrition and health is deeply personal. As a boy, I struggled with health issues like swollen tonsils, leading to their removal when I was 22. My health challenges escalated with allergies that began at 18, causing me to sneeze excessively each morning. This condition compelled me to rely on antihistamines like Zyrtec, which, while helpful, also left me feeling drowsy and weakened.
Despite continuous use of medication, my allergies persisted, and by my 30s, I was still experiencing morning sneezes, though slightly reduced in number. At 35, my health took another turn with the onset of acid reflux, followed by Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Hashimoto’s disease, marked by alarmingly high anti-TPO and anti-tg levels. Additionally, I faced a significant challenge with a high anti-GAD level.
In a pivotal moment 11 years ago, I made a crucial decision to quit sugar, including all fruits. This significant dietary change marked the beginning of a remarkable transformation. By 2012, my allergies began to diminish. I gradually reduced my Zyrtec dosage and eventually stopped it altogether within six months. The result was profound: my allergies disappeared, and I successfully healed my IBS and other related conditions. Almost remissioned Hashimatos with normal ant-tg and much lower anti-TPO levels, believing to be normal soon. Still trying to find the reason for over 2000 of anti-GAD level and searching a way to lower it.
This personal experience has fueled my passion for understanding the impact of food on our bodies. I’ve learned that it’s not just about what we eat, but also how it interacts with our unique physiology. My diet now focuses on organic, wholesome foods, emphasizing the use of olive oil and a balanced intake of proteins and healthy fats. I’ve explored ketogenic diets and intermittent fasting, discovering the power of low-carb, high-fat diets in stabilizing blood sugar and reducing inflammation.
I’m an advocate for mindful eating and listening to our body’s signals. It’s not just about counting calories; it’s about understanding how different foods affect our body and mind. I’ve explored various dietary frameworks like GAPS, FODMAP, and intermittent fasting, and appreciate the importance of gut health in overall wellness.
In summary, my philosophy on nutrition is a testament to the healing power of food. It’s a journey that began with personal health challenges and evolved into a deep commitment to a lifestyle that prioritizes wellbeing and balance. I believe in mindful eating, understanding the science behind various diets, and the transformative impact of making informed dietary choices.
Philosophy & Perspective:
I see life as a complex yet beautiful interplay of individuality and interconnectedness. My contemplations often lead me to explore our role in the grand tapestry of the universe, balancing self-awareness with the recognition of our part in a larger whole. This worldview informs my approach to wellness, advocating a lifestyle that nurtures both mind and body.
Wellness & Personal Development:
My fascination with the mind-body connection is at the heart of my wellness philosophy. I’m intrigued by how our mental states can influence our physical wellbeing, phenomenas like the placebo effect. I believe in science, scince based nutrition and harnessing the power of our thoughts to foster health and healing.
Social Reflections:
In today’s world, authenticity in our interactions feels more vital than ever. I advocate for meaningful, genuine connections, moving away from superficial social practices. This reflects a broader vision for life: seeking sincerity in our relationships and being conscious of our impact on the world around us.
Professional Insights:
Drawing from my experience in the corporate realm, I understand the intricacies of workplace dynamics. I value honesty and integrity in professional settings and see effective communication as key to navigating the complex world of human resources and business ethics.
Personal Growth:
Certainly, here’s a revised version of the paragraph with a stronger emphasis on meditation, including specific mention of transcendental meditation and breath work:
Personal Growth:
At the core of my personal growth journey lies a deep commitment to meditation, particularly transcendental meditation and breath work. These practices are not just routines; they are transformative experiences that anchor my daily life. Through transcendental meditation, I find a profound sense of peace and clarity, while breath work offers me a powerful tool for emotional regulation and self-awareness. This dedication to meditation enriches my understanding of the science of emotions and guides me in the pursuit of a harmonious and balanced life. It’s through these mindful practices that I continually evolve and embrace the art of living fully.
Conclusion:
My journey is an ongoing exploration of life’s profound questions and simple joys. It’s about understanding the depth of our existence and finding contentment in every moment. Join me in this adventure as we uncover the beauty and complexity of being.
